FAQs
What's the cost to search for people or conduct a background search?
UK People Search - £49.99 upfront + a further £99.99 only if we find them.
UK Background Search - £39.99.
USA and Canada prices quoted via email depending on what you want done.
Can you trace people from just their email address?
No, not just from their email address. I'd need to know their full name as well. An email address can help increase the chance of success with most people searches though.
Do you search for ex-directory phone numbers?
No. The phone number is the property of the phone company. The sale of their number to a third party may be illegal. It's also ethically questionable. Ex-directory numbers may come up as part of an investigation but I do not investigate specifically to find them.
Do you collect debts as well?
No, I just locate the person or debtor. If you need a debt collector , I can arrange one for you.
Can you get me someone's criminal records?
Not usually in the UK. The person would have to sign a disclaimer before the government would allow a criminal records check. USA criminal records are available by county and state.
Do you help international clients, or just people in the UK?
International clients are more than welcome! People can be found in the UK, the United States and Canada.
Do you accept all cases?
I won't accept cases when the reason behind it is to cause people harm, abuse or to stalk. Luckily, 99% of the people who contact me have good intentions. I do trace debtors, but the manner in which you collect the debt is assumed to be ethical and is up to you.
What's the average time taken to complete a search?
Usually 2-10 days, but some cases do drag on for a month or so. It really just depends on what information you can provide and the circumstances of the case. With most other big companies, you'd wait a lot longer or have to pay additional fees to "fast-track" your search. So that's sort of an added bonus.
Can you trace eBay or Paypal fraudsters?
I don't usually except these cases as there's usually very little information to go on and it's usually false. There's really nothing I can do with a fake name and email address. I will accept the case if it's along the lines that someone you know has taken payment via paypal and then moved address, or a company you've dealt with before has suddenly stopped trading and not sent you the goods. In those cases you'll have real information on these people.
